What partners get
The widget refreshes whenever the .fyi publishes a new edition, every Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. Central. You don’t maintain anything, you don’t update event listings, you don’t check for broken links. The Foundation’s editorial team handles the calendar; your site shows whatever is current that week.
There is no charge for the widget. There is no advertising in it. There is no tracking script. We do log aggregate iframe loads so we can tell partners how many impressions the widget delivers on their site.
Sizing notes
The widget renders best at heights between 480 and 640 pixels. On narrow sidebars under 400 pixels wide, the widget remains readable but truncates longer event titles. For a wider feature placement, the widget caps at 560 pixels wide and centers horizontally within the iframe.
Who should embed
The widget was built with a few partner types in mind: the City of Duncanville’s visitor and parks pages, the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce, hotels near Highway 67 and I-20 looking to surface local activity for guests, the Duncanville Public Library and the Senior Center, Duncanville Community Theatre and other working venues, and Best Southwest tourism partners.
